Lower Southampton Fire Department Performs A Dive Demonstration At The Dolphin Swim Club
June 30, 2009 -  The Lower Southampton Fire Department Dive Team performed a dive demonstration at the Dolphin Swim Club.  Despite the poor weather, the Dive Team was able show off their gear and talk to the patrons about water safety.
Special Service 6 Receives 1st Place For Best Equipped & Appearing Service Truck
June 14, 2009It is with great pleasure that the Lower Southampton Fire Department announces that Special Service 6 received 1st Place for Best Equipped & Appearing at the 89th Annual Bucks County Firemen's Parade. 

Lower Southampton Fire Department Attends Lower Southampton Elementary School Spring Fair
May 16, 2009 -  Members of the Lower Southampton Fire Department attended the Lower Southampton Elementary School Spring Fair to promote fire safety.  Sparky The Fire Dog also attended the fair to promote fire safety and to show off his dance moves.  Pictures from this event are available in the gallery.
Lower Southampton Fire Department Has A Very Busy Day
May 2, 2009 -  The Lower Southampton Fire Department began the day by handing out smoke detectors in the surrounding neighborhoods.  Our department was dispatched for a house fire on Wisteria Avenue.  Rescue 6 arrived first on scene and quickly sent a crew inside who placed the fire under control.  Pictures from the call can be found in the gallery.



Lower Southampton Fire Department Responds To 2-Alarm Blaze
April 27, 2009 The Lower Southampton Fire Department responded to a fire on Pebble Ridge Court in Woodlyn Crossing at 3:35PM.  Deputy Chief 6 was first on-scene with 2 story row home, with the end unit out of 8 burning.  The blaze was placed under control at 4:37PM.   Two homes were destroyed and three sustained minor damage.  Thank you to all those who responded to the call. 
          The Lower Southampton Fire Department sends a special thanks to Feasterville Fire Company,  Southampton Fire Company, Northampton Fire Company, Trevose Fire Company, William Penn Fire Company, Penndel Fire Company, Parkland Fire Company, Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company, Newtown Fire Association, Nottingham Fire Company & Newport Fire Company for responding to the blaze.   Thank you to Bryn Athyn Fire Company for providing a cover crew for our station.
              After returning from the Pebble Ridge Court fire, the Lower Southampton Fire Department was dispatched for a cascade assignment in Bensalem.  Our crews assisted with the filling of air cylinders and repacking hose lines.
